Keegyn's New Do

Keegyn's hair is an extension of her personality. It can be super cute when pulled up but can also be very unmanageable. With the new morning schedule I haven't had the time and Keegyn has not had the patience to do her hair. In an effort to make life easier Keegyn got a hair cut (it is actually her third cut). She was excited and did great, check out he results.

Pizza Night

Jeff went to a UK basketball game one night last week and Jordan was at gymnastics (surprise, surprise, surprise) so Colten, Keegyn and I made Chef Boyardee pizzas. Recently my cousin Herbie had mentioned how much his family loves them. I figured we had to try it.

While at Mom's Sunday, she brought it to my attention that nobody had seen or heard from Keegyn in a while. This is what I found when I went looking for her.

It finally arrived.............................

CHECK OUT JEFF'S NEW TV

We put our Christmas money together with Jeff's TV/Blow Money envelope (Dave Ramsey) to purchase a new updated TV. I'm proud to say we set a budget, stuck to it and paid cash (kind of, we ordered online so it will be on credit card temporarily). The timing was perfect, it was delivered Tuesday morning and Tuesday evening the Purdue basketball game (notice the screen) was on at 7:00 then UK basketball at 9:00! I foresee many conflicts between Jeff and Colten over who gets to watch their show. I have to give thanks to Jeff's friend, Brad who gave lots of good advice on which TV to choose and also shopped around to find out where to get the best deal.

First Snow 2010

The kids (especially Colten) were so excited about the recent snow. We had had a few other light snows this winter but by the time we got home from daycare/work the snow would be melted, this time was different. As soon as the kids and I got home we put on our snowsuits and stayed out till dark. Colten helped me shovel the whole driveway. Then I pulled the two of them around in their sled. My favorite part was the cup of hot chocolate we had to have in order to warm up!
